Hein Chow Kwong 鄺賢儔

Hein Chow Kwong (1863-1889, Class of 1884), a native of Nanhai, Guangdong province, was a member of the third detachment of the CEM. Coming to the US at age 12, he prepped at Williston before matriculating at MIT in 1880. After the recall, he was sent to the Tangshan Kaiping Mining School in Tangshan, China. He later worked for the Chinese Mining and Engineering Company in Tangshan. Kwong died in 1889. His cousin, Kwong King Yang, also attended MIT.
